Wai Wai loves to listen to other people’s stories since childhood, but she found that no matter how fruitful they are, the stories belong to others. Therefore, in 2016, Wai Wai decided to write a story once no matter how hard it is. She quit her graphic design job and just went for it. Drawing people is her favourite subject, and putting their diligence and dedication into drawings is her greatest satisfaction. From urban sketching to creation of community maps to the recent painting of historical street scenes in Yau Ma Tei for the City University of Hong Kong, Wai Wai will share with us how to bring out brilliance and hopes that the audience will together turn the subject matter that we are not familiar with to become more thrilling.
